Bella Venable is an artist and printmaker from California currently living and working in Bristol. She recieved her BA in illustration at Camberwell College of the Arts and is on the MA Fine Art: Printmaking course at UWE Bristol.
Using fabrics and printmaking methods, she creates work based around art as a ritual for grief. Using surrealism and interactions between human and non-human, her work sits in a liminal space born from her loss. she believes that through talking about grief publicly, her work can create a safe space for those who also experience this.
